Vaillant AroTHERM 5 kW Air Source Heat Pump & 200 L Cylinder Installed in Herstmonceux

System Overview

The project replaced an old and failed heat pump with a new Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 5kW  Air Source Heat Pump and a dedicated / matching 200ltr pressurized hot water cylinder, delivering a more efficient, quieter, more cost effective and aesthetically pleasing solution.

Outdoor Unit

• Model: Vaillant AroTHERM Plus 5 kW

• Published SCOP: 3.06 (water flow temperature of just 55degC working with existing compact radiators)

• Sound Level: 54 dB(A) at 1 m

Heat Pump Cylinder

• Capacity: 200 L with internal coil

• Expansion Vessel: External pre-charged 18ltrs

• Design: Rapid hot-water recovery
